Husemann & Hücking's system has sucessfully been introduced since 2002 and it is used all over Europe. The stable steel profiles can be mounted in front of doors, windows and gates. WP Wasto can be adaped according to the water level and be can be removed after use. The function is simple and effective: Slats are stacked up with seals between two guide rails in front of or in the reveal and they are tightened to a dam by clamps as a barrier against water and mod.
The system is the optimal solution for direct building protection. Independent of external help, a single person can use this system to seal off a building within a very short time if necessary. All that is required, is the preparatory work by the metalworker.
WP WASTO is made of galvanised steel profiles. Steel is not only more stable than aluminium, the material is above all more filigree, much more environmentally friendly and cheaper. Thus, a building can effectively be protected against flooding at a reasonable price.
The system can be installed as a single element with a damming width up to 4 metres and optional intermediate posts. The application is not only limited to windows and doors, but it can also be used without any problems for wide openings such as gates or smaller entrances.
